TERMS OF USE
Speedy Skills — a trading name of Qjarli Limited
Last updated: 25 September 2026 | Version 1.1
OVERVIEW
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Speedy Skills online training modules, website and related services (together, the "Services"). The Services are operated by Qjarli Limited; a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales and trading as "Speedy Skills" ("Speedy Skills", "Qjarli", "we", "us" or "our"). Throughout these Terms, "you" means the individual consumer who accesses or uses the Services.
By creating an account, purchasing, accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Services.
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. Where anything in these Terms conflicts with your non-excludable statutory rights, those statutory rights prevail.
1. Eligibility (adults 18+ only)
The Services are intended for adults only. By accessing or using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. The Services are not directed at, and must not be used by, anyone under 18. We may suspend or close any account we reasonably believe belongs to a person under 18.
2. Your account and security
To access the training modules, you must register for an account and provide accurate, current and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account. Your account is personal to you and must not be shared with, sold, or transferred to any other person.
3. Licence to access training content
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to access and view the training modules and related content made available to you (the "Content") for your own personal, non-commercial learning purposes for the duration of your access period.
This licence does not transfer any ownership rights to you. All intellectual property rights in the Services and the Content remain owned by Qjarli or its licensors — see Section 9.
4. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not, and will not permit anyone else to:
- use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, or in breach of any applicable law (including copyright, data-protection and privacy laws);
- reproduce, duplicate, copy, download (except where a download function is expressly provided), record, screen-capture, sell, resell, distribute or otherwise exploit any part of the Content without our prior written permission;
- share your account or login credentials, or allow anyone other than you to access the Content through your account;
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive the source code of the Services, or create derivative works based on the Content;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with any security, authentication or usage-limitation feature of the Services;
- upload or transmit any viruses, worms or other malicious code, or use any robot, spider or automated means to access, scrape or copy the Services or Content; or
- use the Services in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair them, or interfere with any other user's use of them.
A breach of this Section may result in immediate suspension or termination of your access, without affecting any other rights or remedies we may have.
5. Pricing, payment and taxes
The price of the Services is the price displayed at the time you place your order. Prices are inclusive of, or exclusive of, applicable taxes as indicated at checkout; where VAT or other taxes apply, they will be added at the applicable rate. We may change our prices from time to time, but changes will not affect orders you have already placed. Payment is taken at the time of purchase through our third-party payment processor, and you agree to provide valid, current and complete payment and billing information.
6. Cancellation and cooling-off rights (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
Because our training modules are digital content supplied online, the following applies to your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
14-day cancellation right: ordinarily you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days, beginning on the day after the contract is concluded, without giving any reason, and to receive a refund.
Immediate access to digital content — express consent and acknowledgement: our training modules are made available to you immediately after purchase. By ticking the "I agree to the Terms and Privacy Policy" box at checkout — which includes the consent and acknowledgement in this Section — you (a) give your express consent to the supply of the digital content beginning immediately, before the end of the 14-day cancellation period; and (b) acknowledge that, once supply has begun, you will lose your right to cancel.
Once you have given that consent and acknowledgement in this way and we have begun supplying the digital content, you will not be entitled to cancel under the Regulations. If you have not given that consent, your right to cancel during the 14-day period is preserved.
How to cancel: where you retain a right to cancel, you may tell us of your decision by a clear statement (for example an email) sent to [email protected]. We will process any refund due without undue delay, using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise.
7. Quality of digital content (Consumer Rights Act 2015)
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the digital content we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for any particular purpose you made known to us, and as described. If digital content we supply is faulty or not as described, you have statutory remedies, which may include repair or replacement and, where those are not possible or do not resolve the issue, a price reduction. Nothing in these Terms limits these statutory rights.
8. Refunds
Except for (a) your cancellation rights under Section 6 where they apply, and (b) your statutory remedies under Section 7 and other consumer law, we do not offer refunds for digital content once supply has begun with your consent. This does not affect any non-excludable statutory right you have as a consumer.
9. Intellectual property
All intellectual property rights (meaning patents, copyright and related rights, trademarks, service marks, business names, database rights, design rights, and all other intellectual property rights, in each case whether registered or unregistered, and including all applications for and renewals or extensions of such rights) in the Services and the Content, including the Speedy Skills training modules and all proprietary methodologies, frameworks, text, audio, video and other materials, are owned by Qjarli or its licensors and are protected by law. Except for the limited licence granted in Section 3, no rights are granted to you. You must not remove, obscure or alter any proprietary notices in the Content.
10. Enterprise-enrolled learners
If you access the Services because your employer or organisation has enrolled you under an enterprise or organisation arrangement with Qjarli, additional terms may apply between Qjarli and that organisation under a separate enterprise licence agreement. In that case, you acknowledge that your learning-progress and completion data may be made available to your organisation's designated enterprise manager so that the organisation can administer the training it has arranged for you. This is explained further in our Privacy Policy and is consistent with the enterprise licence agreement between Qjarli and your organisation. Your data is kept isolated from that of other organisations.
11. Availability of the Services
We aim to keep the Services available, but we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Services, and may withdraw or update Content, at any time. Where we do so, we will act reasonably and, where a change materially and adversely affects Services, you have paid for, we will take appropriate steps consistent with your consumer rights.
12. Disclaimers
The training modules are provided for general educational purposes. While we take care to ensure the Content is accurate and useful, we do not guarantee any particular result or outcome from your use of the Services. Other than the warranties and rights that apply to you under consumer law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015) and which we do not exclude, the Services and Content are provided on an "as available" basis.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. In particular, we do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, for breach of the statutory rights that apply to you as a consumer (including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015), or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the paragraph above, we will not be liable to you for any loss or damage that is not reasonably foreseeable, for any business losses (the Services are supplied to you as a consumer for private use), or for events outside our reasonable control. Our total liability to you for any loss arising under or in connection with your use of the Services shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability, except in respect of the liabilities listed in the paragraph above which are not so limited.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing to provide the Services becomes unlawful or impractical. Where we suspend or terminate your access other than for your breach, we will refund any amounts you have paid for Services you can no longer access, to the extent required by law. Any provisions intended to survive termination (including Section 9 (Intellectual property), Section 16 (Governing law and jurisdiction) and Section 18 (General)) will continue to apply.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the current version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and where changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention. Changes will not apply retroactively to a purchase you have already made. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the law of England and Wales. You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections and the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where the law so provides.
17. Privacy
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it at www.academy.qjarli.com/pages/privacy .
18. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order you place, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services. If any provision is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours to a successor in connection with a reorganisation, merger or sale of our business, provided this does not reduce your rights.
